Ivan Smith -  President and CEO

Mr. Smith attended the University of Calgary in the Commerce program and later articled in the CA program with Clarkson Gordon. More recently, Mr. Smith completed the Queens University and Rotman School of Business Institute of Corporate Directors Education and Corporate Governance programs, and in 2002 received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Prairies Region in the category of Services, Manufacturing and Distribution. In addition to his role at Circa, he is currently President and a Director of K.I.S. Investments, Boulevard Travel, and Willow Park Property Management.

Cory Tamagi – Vice President Finance and CFO

Mr. Tamagi is responsible for the financial and administrative leadership of Circa and also serves as the Corporate Secretary.  He is a Chartered Accountant and has several years of experience in senior financial roles in both public and private companies.  Cory holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

James Waddock – Vice President, Business Development and Strategy

As Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, Mr. Waddock is responsible for the company’s corporate direction and market delivery. With a background in strategic operations, communications, and marketing, Mr. Waddock brings significant experience in senior strategic roles to the Company. James holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communications from the University of Calgary.
