Corporate Profile
Circa Enterprises Inc. is manufacturer and supplier of telecommunications and electrical products and is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. Circa is a publicly traded company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol CTO. Circa’s operations consist of two business lines:
Telecommunications (“Telecom“) – based in Calgary, Alberta, the Telecom segment consists of surge protection products, cables and related connectivity products sold under the CircaMax brand and ruggedized high performance telecommunications equipment sold under the Guardian Telecom, Teletics and Westronic brand names.
Metal fabrication (“Metals”) – the Metals segment is based in Vaughan, Ontario and consists of enclosures, pole line hardware and other products sold to the Canadian electrical industry under the Hydel brand. The operating division also makes a variety of custom metal products for a variety of industries.
Our History
May 1985 – Circa Telcommunications Inc. formed in Calgary, Alberta
September 1988 – Circa obtains listing on the Alberta Stock Exchange and begins trading under the stock symbol “CTO”
March 1990 – Circa acquires Florida-based distributor and renames it Circa Telecom (USA) Inc. to sell and distribute products to the U.S. market
1994 – Circa Telecommunications Inc. restructured and renamed Circa Enterprises Inc.
1995 – Circa public company listing moved from the Alberta Stock Exchange to the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX)
1998 – Circa implements the ISO 9002 (now ISO 9001) quality standard
July 2002 – Circa Enterprises Inc. acquires the shares of AOK Custom Metals Limited, an Ontario custom metal fabrication corporation located in Markham, Ontario – the company was renamed Circa Metals Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Circa Enterprises Inc.
July 2004 – Circa Metals Inc. acquires the assets of Hydel Enterprises Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of fabricated enclosures, pole line hardware and other products for the Canadian electrical industry located in Scarborough, Ontario and Welland, Ontario
April 2006 – the Circa Metals Inc. Ontario operations were consolidated into a 99,000 square foot facility in Vaughan, Ontario
July 2009 – Circa’s public company listing moved from the TSX to the TSX Venture Exchange
2010 – Circa Metals consolidates Welland, Ontario operations into its Vaughan facility
February 2013 – Circa Metals Inc. was continued as an Alberta corporation and amalgamated into Circa Enterprises Inc.
December 2015 – Circa acquires the assets of Alberta Computer Cable Inc. (ACC) and begins designing, manufacturing and selling cable assemblies, connectors and wiring harnesses.
March 2016 – the operations of the cable and connector business (ACC) are amalgamated into Circa’s Calgary facilities
July 2017 – Circa acquires the assets of Guardian Telecom Inc. and begins designing, manufacturing and selling rugged, high performance telephones as well as telephone, PageTalk and PA systems
2019 – the Calgary-based Telecom operations are consolidated into a 30,000 square foot facility
2020 – Circa acquires the assets of Teletics Inc. and begins manufacturing and selling monitored wireless voice and data products
2021 – Circa acquires Westronic Inc. and begins designing and manufacturing intelligent device monitoring and alarm management solutions and monitored wireless voice and data products
Leadership Team
Cory Tamagi – President & CEO

Mr. Tamagi is responsible for corporate leadership and direction of Circa Enterprises Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in both publicly-traded and private corporations, the majority of which have been in executive positions in telecommunications, manufacturing, real estate and transportation & logistics.
Mr. Tamagi served as VP Finance & CFO of Circa from 2008 through 2019. Prior to that, Mr. Tamagi was the CFO of Mainstreet Equity Corporation, Director of Finance & Administration of Sultran Ltd. and held various other financial roles. He also held operational roles as a truck driver and warehouseman.
Mr. Tamagi obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1992 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA route) and member of CPA Alberta.
Angie Hulshof – VP Finance & CFO

Mrs. Hulshof is a Chartered Professional Accountant. She has over 16 years’ experience which includes manufacturing, golf course operations, oil and gas services, logistics and warehousing services. These positions were held in both publicly-traded and private companies.
As the VP Finance & CFO, Mrs. Hulshof leads the accounting/finance, IT, communications and administration of Circa. She is responsible for financial stewardship, accounting & financial reporting, internal control, tax, corporate finance, treasury, securities commission & stock exchange compliance, risk management, and administration.
Mrs. Hulshof received a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration – Accounting in 2014 from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. She is a CPA and member of CPA Alberta.
Darren Epp – Executive Vice President

Mr. Epp is responsible for both the Sales and Engineering of Circa Enterprises Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in positions in Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Software, and Automation.
Mr. Epp previously served as Director, Automation Solutions, Zedi Solutions from 2013 through 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Epp was with Guardian Telecom for 12 years in roles ranging from Electronics Technologist to Vice President, Operations.
Mr. Epp obtained a Computer Engineering Technology Diploma in 1998 from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
